Product updates

Filter the transaction list, tick what you need, download it. The list has a new Export CSV bulk action next to Edit and Uncategorize. Select all exports every transaction matching the current filters, not just the rows on screen.

• One row per transaction, names instead of ids: account, category, vendor or customer, notes, the transaction id last.
• Split transactions get a column group per leg, and only when the export contains a split.
• Opens cleanly in Excel: BOM, decimals in your locale, one file named after the day of the export.
• The full data export under Settings stays as it is: every field, ids only, built for machines rather than spreadsheets.

A customer asked for exactly this.

Count revenue when invoiced, the P&L setting we added earlier this month, is now on for every company. With Stripe connected, issued but unpaid invoices count as revenue in the months they cover. No Stripe invoices, no change. Prefer cash-only? Untick it in the report's Settings.

• The drill-down lists those amounts under Invoiced, not yet collected.
• Drill-downs from a forecast month now carry their filters (counterparty, accounts, direction) into the planned transactions list.
• The list gained a permanent Inflows only / Outflows only filter, and Only unassigned works now.
• The public API accepts the same direction parameter on planned transaction occurrences.

If you invoice and wait for payment, your P&L only showed revenue once the money arrived. The Profit & loss report now has a setting, Count revenue when invoiced: issued, unpaid Stripe invoices count as revenue in the months their service period covers. Nothing is counted twice.

• The drill-down gets its own section, Invoiced, not yet collected; once paid, the amount moves from one bucket to the other.
• Every open invoice is a planned transaction with a badge: Invoiced, Overdue, or Collection stalled (retries exhausted, or a bank-transfer invoice 90+ days past due).
• An Overdue section is pinned on top of the planned transactions list.
• The forecast counts late-but-collectible invoices as cash due any day; stalled ones promise nothing until you settle them in Stripe.

Not every Stripe invoice is paid through Stripe. When a customer wires the money, the payment used to land as a plain bank inflow: booked on the payment date, no service period, no tax split. Now you can link it to its invoice.

• Open the transaction and click Link Stripe invoice; likely matches are ranked first, with the reason (invoice number on the payment, or matching amount and date).
• Revenue is booked from the invoice lines: spread over the service period, VAT split off, with a link back to the invoice in Stripe.
• Clear cases book themselves after each bank or Stripe import: invoice number quoted, total matching to the cent, typos like FOOD9CC0 for F00D9CC0 included.
• A short payment stays visibly open; foreign-currency invoices convert at the payment date's rate.

Most products exist in several variants: monthly and yearly billing, a legacy tier, a few custom plans. Product groups bundle those variants into one bucket, and a new product filter scopes the subscription metrics to it.

• On the Products page, create a group and drag products in; each group shows its combined committed MRR.
• The CMRR by product chart gets a Groups toggle, one series per bucket.
• The product filter sits next to the date range on the Subscriptions report and on dashboards, with per-widget overrides to compare two groups side by side.
• A customer switching from monthly to yearly inside a group counts as one continuous subscription, not churn plus new business.
• Groups and the filter are in the public API and the MCP server too.

Every widget on a report or dashboard now has a download button in its header, right next to maximize. You get a CSV of exactly the numbers on screen: percentages if the percent toggle is on, countries if the map view is active.

• Export all on a dashboard downloads a zip with one file per widget.
• The P&L and cash flow by category tables get their own Export CSV button, months as columns, totals included.
• Numbers use your locale, so Excel reads them as numbers; money columns carry their currency; an empty month stays empty instead of a fake zero.
• The filename records metric, MRR type, date range, and smoothing.

This one came straight from customer requests.

The Top countries widget on the Subscriptions report can now flip from table to map. Every country is shaded by how much recurring revenue comes out of it; countries without customers stay gray, so an empty market looks different from a small one.

• Hovering a country shows the same columns as the table (revenue, customers, share of total); clicking opens the same customer drill-down.
• The map follows the report's CMRR/MRR toggle and survives maximizing; the percent toggle on CMRR by product now carries over the same way.
• City-states like Singapore are too small for a shape on the map, so the table stays the complete list.

Where does a runway of 19 months come from? Every analytics chart and KPI card now has an info button that answers exactly that: what the metric measures, its formula as real math with stacked fractions, and the footnotes that matter (averaging window, caps, what a negative sign means).

• Each part of the formula shows its live value from your data, and results appear inline.
• Every part that is itself a metric is a clickable chip: descend from LTV into CMRR per customer and on into churn, with a breadcrumb back up.
• A month picker recalculates everything for any month in view; smoothed charts list each month of the window.
• On computed metrics like Rule of 40 or runway, clicking the chart opens the math for exactly that month.

Every company now has a default category for AI spend: AI 🤖, right next to Software/Tools. Until now this spend disappeared among the other subscriptions. Kept separate, the margin impact stays visible, and usage-based model spend in COGS is the first number investors ask about.

• Works in all four cost areas: token bills in COGS, coding assistants under product development, an AI SDR under customer acquisition, ChatGPT seats in G&A.
• Already in your account; existing categorizations stay untouched.
• The AI categorization assistant starts suggesting it for OpenAI, Anthropic, and other AI vendors; vendors you mapped to Software/Tools keep their default until you change it, one edit on the vendor.

SaaSFlow has two AI features that read your financial data: the AI analyst and categorization suggestions. Both send data to an AI provider, and that deserves a real decision instead of a line in the terms. Before the first run, a dialog names the provider, the model, where the data is processed, and the exact data categories shared. Nothing leaves SaaSFlow until an owner has agreed.

• Approval is per provider and counts for the whole workspace: Anthropic for categorization suggestions, Cursor running xAI's Grok for the analyst.
• Settings shows who approved what and when; any member can withdraw an approval, which blocks new runs immediately.
• If a feature ever moves to a different provider, you are asked again.
• Each generated report names the model that wrote it; both providers are listed in our privacy policy.

Every widget on a report or dashboard shows its settings as chips in the footer: date range, MRR type, smoothing, accounts, categories, benchmark. Those chips are now clickable, and a change applies to that widget alone. Put committed MRR next to actual MRR, or a smoothed churn line next to the raw one, without duplicating the page.

• An overridden chip is tinted, its tooltip names the page default, and one click resets it.
• Overrides live in the URL: the dashboard stays untouched and teammates keep their own view until you send them your link.
• Works on built-in reports and custom dashboards, follows a widget into fullscreen, and share links keep your overrides.
• Also new: charts with absolute totals anchor their y-axis at zero, so bar heights stay comparable.

Some bank debits are always transfers: the health insurer settling against your payroll account, the monthly credit card bill, a tax prepayment. Until now the other side was an open item you closed by hand every month. A vendor's default categorization can now carry a transfer target account; whenever the default applies, SaaSFlow books the counter transaction there and closes the transfer in the same step.

• Works on every path a default runs through: the automatic categorizer, bulk edits, a single saved transaction.
• Transfers in two currencies are left open rather than closed with a guessed amount.
• Unlink a transfer and an automatically created counter booking you never touched is removed with it.
• The Add category dialog now groups its P&L checkboxes into Revenue, Expenses, and Neutral, straight from customer feedback.

There is a new item in the navigation: AI analyst. Pick a completed month and an agent works through your numbers, from MRR movements and customer changes to spending and cash. What comes back is a written deep dive with its own layout and charts, not a template with numbers dropped in.

• Before a report reaches you, its headline numbers are replayed against your live data; a report that does not add up is rejected.
• The report opens fullscreen with a chat beside it: ask where a number comes from, or have the analyst cut a section, add a breakdown, or take an earlier version as the base.
• Every accepted edit passes the same checks and becomes a new version you can step back to.
• Download the result as a single HTML file and send it to whoever should read it.

The new Valuation page answers the question every founder gets asked: what is the company worth? SaaSFlow takes your committed ARR and prices it with a multiple derived from where your metrics sit among peers. The result is always a range, never a fake-precise number.

• Growth, net retention, gross margin, and burn multiple each move the multiple inside a corridor of published private market data (SaaS Capital, Aventis Advisors, Carta).
• Two lenses give two honest answers, since a funding round prices differently than an acquisition.
• Every driver is a slider: drag it and the estimate updates live, nothing is saved; switch the peer group to see how the next tier would price you.
• In preview while we tune the numbers. A free public calculator lives on saasflow.com; in the app the inputs are your real Stripe and bank data.

The new Benchmarks report puts your growth, retention, churn, and profitability next to where comparable SaaS companies sit. Turn the benchmark on and every chart gets green, yellow, and red bands: green is the top quartile, red the bottom, with the peer median drawn as a reference line.

• The peer group is chosen from your own numbers; a healthy growth rate at €500K ARR is not the same as at €10M.
• Covers growth (annual and monthly), gross and net retention, churn, gross margin, Rule of 40, CAC payback, and burn multiple.
• Each line is colored by the zone its latest points land in, so a slipping metric shows at a glance.
• Switch the peer group from the chip to see how you would measure up a tier ahead. Every threshold comes from published SaaS research (SaaS Capital, ChartMogul, Benchmarkit).

Open any metric full-screen and a panel beside it lists every other metric you can chart. Click one to switch; your date range, MRR type, and smoothing carry across, so you always compare like with like.

• Press Cmd+K from anywhere, type a name, and jump straight to the metric you mean.
• One button adds a metric worth watching to a dashboard.
• The widget catalog is grouped into families now, with a search box.
• Every KPI is its own widget: 19 single-number cards, including gross margin, operating margin, and Rule of 40 from the new Profitability group.

Three new widgets are in the dashboard catalog: burn rate, runway, and ARR. All three are also available through the API and MCP, next to the other SaaS metrics.

• Burn rate charts net and gross cash burn per month from your bank transactions, internal transfers left out.
• Runway divides your cash balance by the average net burn of the last three complete months; when you are not burning, it shows 60 or more months instead of pretending to know the future.
• ARR shows recurring revenue at annual scale, committed or actual.
• Every bar answers the question behind it: click an ARR month for the per-customer amounts, click a burn bar for the month's transactions, filtered the way the metric is computed.

Your custom dashboards can now go to people outside your team. Create a share link and anyone with the URL sees a read-only live view of the dashboard, no SaaSFlow account needed. Send your metrics board to investors before the next call, or give an advisor a standing view of the numbers you want them to keep an eye on.

A dashboard can hold several links at once, say a never-expiring link for your board next to a 7-day link for a prospect. Each link has a name, an optional expiry date, and an optional password, and shows how often it was opened. Viewers pick the date range themselves but only ever see the accounts, categories, and widgets you shared. Revoking a link cuts off access immediately.

SaaSFlow now lets you compose your own dashboards next to the curated Home and Reports pages. Pick any metric from the widget catalog, drag and resize it on a live grid, and add text headlines to give sections structure. There is no separate edit mode and every change saves automatically. If you'd rather not start from a blank page, open any built-in report and copy it into a new dashboard as a starting template.

Dashboards are private until you share them. Invite teammates as viewer, editor, or owner, so the board view stays read-only while your co-founder rearranges the growth page. Dashboards also load faster now: each widget renders on its own as soon as its data arrives.

SaaSFlow now categorizes your open transactions for you. Start the analysis on the Transactions page and an AI agent reads every uncategorized transaction, matches a vendor or customer, and picks the right category, including the P&L split when a transaction spans more than one line. It runs in the background, so you can leave the page and we'll email you when the suggestions are ready.

Nothing changes until you say so. Review each suggestion with its matched counterparty, the reasoning, and the underlying transactions, edit any row, group similar ones, or set aside the ones you'd rather decide yourself. Apply the rest in a single click.

When you move money between your own accounts, the two sides rarely land on the same day. SaaSFlow now holds the gap as an in-transit position instead of double counting your cash, and clears it automatically once the matching side arrives on the next sync.

For payouts to a bank you haven't connected yet, the money would otherwise sit in transit forever. A review banner on the Transactions page flags anything stuck for more than 14 days and gives you three ways to resolve it: connect the destination bank, book it to its real category, or remove the leg from your history.

The notifications page now has type and date filters. Narrow the list to connection issues, MRR changes, comments, or assignments, and pick a time range to focus on a specific period.

Each filter works on its own or combined with the others, so finding the one notification you remember from last week takes a couple of clicks instead of a long scroll.

SaaSFlow now connects to banks in the United Kingdom. Pick the UK in the bank country selector and link your account the same way you would anywhere else, with transactions flowing in automatically.

GBP, British date and number formatting, and GB IBANs are all handled, so a UK account sits next to your other accounts with no extra setup.

SaaSFlow is now an official ChatGPT app, approved by OpenAI and available to every ChatGPT user. Ask questions about your MRR, customers, cash flow, and any other SaaSFlow data right inside ChatGPT, no setup required.

The app is built on top of our MCP server, the same one that powers Claude, Cursor, and other AI clients. Approvals for more platforms are already in flight, so your data follows you wherever you work.

Pleo users can now bring their spend data into SaaSFlow. Upload your monthly Pleo ZIP export and SaaSFlow parses every row (card purchases, invoices, invoice payments, wallet loads, cashback, reimbursements) into the right place.

Wallet loads are automatically matched to bank transfers, invoice payments inherit VAT and categorization from their accrual rows, and re-uploads preserve any categorizations or notes you've added.

Finway is now integrated into SaaSFlow. Two monthly CSV exports (Wallet and Belege) bring your full expense flow into your P&L: card purchases, supplier invoices, wallet top-ups, and proportional categorization across multi-payment invoices.

Every chart and table now has a maximize icon in its header. Click it to open a fullscreen view of the widget with its own controls. Ideal for presenting a single metric, sharing a link with a teammate, or just getting a bigger picture.

The URL captures the current control state, so the view you send is exactly the view they'll see. Chart animations are off app-wide, making everything feel a step snappier.

HubSpot subscriptions are synced into SaaSFlow with proper handling of taxes, fees, and invoices paid in multiple payments. This gives you a unified view of your subscription data across both platforms.

SaaSFlow now fully supports Stripe Capital products: flex loans, advances, and advance funding. Loan accounts are automatically created and named when detected, and archived once fully paid back.

All loan-related transactions are categorized correctly so that borrowed funds don't distort your P&L. This means your financial reports stay accurate, even when you're using Stripe Capital to fuel growth.

Plan ahead with the new planned transactions feature. Create planned transactions based on past patterns, recurring vendors or customers, or build them from scratch to model future cash flows.

A new visual forecast balance chart shows your projected cash position over time. Drill into any forecast period to see transactions grouped by counterparty, giving you clearer insights into what's driving your future cash flow.

SaaSFlow now tracks billing intervals (monthly, yearly, etc.) for every subscription event. This information is automatically imported from Stripe and displayed in subscription event tables and the subscription detail modal.

For manually managed subscriptions, you can set the billing interval and count when adding or editing events. This gives you clearer insight into how your customers are billed and helps distinguish between monthly and annual contracts at a glance.

The total column in your Profit & Loss and Cash Flow by Category reports has been significantly improved. It now provides clearer aggregation of your financial data with better tooltip explanations that help you understand exactly how totals are calculated.

The improved formatting makes it easier to quickly scan your P&L and spot trends across reporting periods.

Duplicate records happen, especially when importing data from multiple sources. You can now select two or more customers (or vendors) and merge them into a single record with one click.

SaaSFlow intelligently picks the best name, combines domains and external IDs, and reassigns all linked transactions and subscriptions. This keeps your data clean without losing any history.

Understanding how much a customer is worth over their entire relationship is essential for sustainable growth. The new Lifetime Value metric is now available in the Subscriptions Overview, calculated as MRR per customer multiplied by gross profit margin and average customer lifetime.

Use it alongside CAC and CAC Payback Period to make smarter decisions about how much to invest in acquiring and retaining customers.

Your customer list just got a lot richer. SaaSFlow now automatically extracts country information and company domains from your Stripe data, displaying customer logos alongside their names in the Top Customers and MRR Events widgets.
